Professional Skills

As a developer and programmer, it is important to be a team player. More often than not, IT projects require diligence and group effort, which are two key qualities that I bring to the table. I work well with others and can contribute greatly in the brainstorming process of development of IT projects.

Furthermore, it is imperative that one is a well-rounded individual, showing versatility in any given scenario. That means that he/she needs to be able to adapt regardless of any situation that occurs. This is a strong quality of mine that I take great pride in, as I have shown to think my way through difficult tasks.

Moreover, I am well versed in written and oral communication. As an IT professional, one must be aware of the fact that proper communication bridges the gap between him/her and clients. Listening to their needs and expectations while also asking the right questions are essential components in the user requirements gathering phase. I've had experience in this and more while working for two companies.

Problem-solving is a must-have if one is to achieve success in the IT industry. An analytical manner of thinking is a benefit in that it allows one to break the problem down into smaller, more manageable parts. By tackling these smaller issues, one will be able to gain insight on how to solve the larger problem as a whole. Thus, I feel that problem-solving is another crucial strength that I possess.
